HYFIVE DESIGN AWARD 2022

The awards ceremony for the winners of the Innovation Design Contest gives new-generations designers the opportunity to express their creativity under the concept “Building Design Innovation for Sustainable Air Pollution Solving in Chiang Mai”, along with the architectural exhibition of the winner's works and PM.25 issues. 

Hyfive Design Award 2022 is our first CSR project of Hylife Developments Co., Ltd. We aim to encourage creativity, innovation, and awareness of the PM2.5 issues in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

HYFIVE DESIGN CONTEST

Building Design Innovation for Sustainable Air Pollution Solving in Chiang Mai

Objectives

According to PM 2.5 air pollution issue in Chiang Mai, the North of Thailand, it has impacted the people in the area for a long time and Air Quality Index (AQI)is being increased significantly every year since 2018 from “Unhealthy” to “Very Unhealthy”. For this reason, Hylife Developments Co., Ltd. has concerned about the air quality in Chiang Mai and has an intention to provide a CSR program which we create to be a Design Contest. We expect ideas from the new generation of architects whorealize the issue of PM 2.5 and have an intention to present your concept through the design to be one of the solutions for solving.

The design contest gives the opportunity to a new generation of architects to express the design idea involving air pollution protection and filtration, especially the pollution from PM 2.5.

Moreover, we have prepared the prizes for the innovative-creative ideas that are able to solve the air pollution issue.

Criteria

- University Students from any institution.

- General (not included in an organization).

- 20 Baht for an Application fee.

Requirements

Hylife Developments Co., Ltd. is seeking the concept idea “Building Design Innovation for Sustainable Air Pollution Solving in Chiang Mai” for a public building with consideration of the usable area, reducing energy consumption, and contributions to pollution reduction by the innovation and environment in the building. We state to design a community mall with the maximum usable area not over 2,000 square meters per 1 building from the provided sample area below. Also, the usable area in the building should be included a drive-thru, restaurants, supermarkets, a fitness center, and others.

Submission 

Submit as a Digital File of PDF or JPEG with a resolution of at least 300 DPI and attach a description of the project not over 300 words (Thai or English only). Specify the name, address, phone number, and others on the first page of the Digital File.
